-Role which saw me assigning the role of content producer to Jordan who was essentially our quizmaster for the show so he was creating the questions ready to be asked to the rest of the group.
-The role also saw me having to book the equipment and as well book a room-not entirely happy with the room that I booked in archview but none the less it did the job that it was required.
-As well I under-saw that all recording was working well.
-Also had to ensure that all members of the group knew where and when they had to be for recording.
-Also assigning Brandon to role of editor.

]]> 2021-12-01 12:32:27 UTC https://padlet.com/jpartisnelson/adh3vlrlsbh9k9ug/wish/1922633162 jpartisnelson https://padlet.com/jpartisnelson/adh3vlrlsbh9k9ug/wish/1925996068 -As always when filming for BT on a weekend I looked in the week before the game to receive the call sheet to find out which time BT would be contacting me, I was relieved to find out they would be calling me closer to 2 as I wouldn't be making it to the ground before 1:30 due to filming my documentary at the training ground.

-Setting up of the equipment was more trickier than it usually is, this was due to the tripod being used earlier in the week by the club so the balance wasn't perfect. I am convinced that I didn't get the balance back to normal but when speaking to BT they didn't bring up any issue so I decided that it must have been okay.

-During the game I decided to experiment a bit more with my zoom in's during chances inside the box, with the more games I film the higher my confidence becomes and the more I am trying to improve my camerawork.

- A penalty occurred in the last 10 minutes of the game so I zoomed in a bit more to get a better shot for the viewer at home.

- Overall I would say that filming went well and I responded quickly to amending the issue with the tripod even if it wasn't perfect but overall I was left satisfied with the work done.

When roles were being assigned I registered my interest in the role of commentary but was alas not successful in my bid to be the commentator of the show which left me disappointed but still not unmotivated for my role of close up shots in the gantry.

Match logging was a simple and enjoyable task, Nice to be able to watch the game in the first half and be able to understand the flow of the game for when it came to me filming in the second half

Close up filming was something new to me and the early minutes of the second half filming were not very well filmed due to me getting to grips with being so zoomed in. However I quickly found my footing and I was very happy with how the day went.

Reporting on the London Youth Games Kayaking event, job was to interview both participants and the organisers of the games with a focus on questions being around the return from COVID and the affect it has had. Slightly struggled to approach people for interviews throughout the day, I had envisioned they're being a specific media area for me to conduct the interviews so I was slightly thrown off. Overall was happy with how the day went as I got enough quotes from my interviews to form the final article to recap the day's action.


Southend United Social media work-

After I gained my placement at Southend United while BT were filming their first home game of the season so I didn't need to film the game, therefore I filmed a piece to camera previewing the match for social media. I was slightly frustrated it took me a few takes but none the less I was happy with the final video. I also wrote the script for the show and as well was the analyst of the games in the studio which saw me do quite a bit of research in order for me to provide some good analysis.

It was slightly overwhelming to have so many roles but I believe I did a good job in all of them and I very much enjoyed being in the studio with Jordan conducting my role as the analysis. -All goals during the game were captured fine and clearly which I always consider a success at the end of the day.
-One issue at half time was I noticed one of the SD cards had ran out of storage space, this was quite a frantic moment as I had to rush and get my laptop out to delete some of the other storage on the SD card to allow filming of the second half to commence.
-This was quite a stressful moment and I am quite proud that I managed to find a solution to this problem as quick as I did.
