The text features helped me because the description and photo graphs helped understand how big the Nazca lines were what some people thought of the Nazca lines. Like about how some people thought the Nazca lines looked like a "round head is a helmet that a space traveler would wear."

It means that the gods that are in the sky can view the lines from above (which may be the reason the lines are that big)and it might have been a signal to give the Nazca water possibly because they are out of the resource.

I think by ¨these lines were meant to remind the gods to hurry up and fill the with water.¨ the author means that since the Nazca people belived that gods lived in the mountains they made the Nazca lines so the gods could see it and give them water.

I think they said this because the rivers would dry up and they need water so they might of drew those because they thought there where Gods in the mountens so the went to the montens and prayed for water. I think if the gods didn't answer they would draw, for god to see it so they provide them with water.

A conclusion i can draw about text is that since the Nazca lines where very big they could not have just guess and make it. They could have used many different strategies to make the Nazca Lines.
