She showed us images of the Underground Railroad routes, the safe houses, the secret quilt codes and how slaves were stolen from Africa to the Americas and Canada.

William King. The two most interesting stories are about Rev. King and the route to Canada using the Underground Railroad because they taught me a lot of new information.

Being familiar with the history of our people in America is one thing. But hearing the different perspective from a Canadian citizen with African roots was so interesting. I look forward to finding out more.
