This 11:00 minute crash course video explains OCD and Anxiety disorders. Hank (the narrator) hopes to help the reader to understand the difference between someone who is just cleanly and perhaps a perfectionist and someone who truly struggles with OCD. He also explains at length the different types of anxiety disorders, their symptoms and their triggers. While this is a loner video and doesn't quite reach the 15 minute mark, I love crash course videos and its. fun break from many of the monotone discussion on the subject!

I chose this topic because I felt a personal connection to it. In the past I have had experience with both anxiety attacks and panic attacks and I wanted to know more about each subject and how they affect children so if ever I needed to, I could help someone. Something I found particularly interesting was that anxiety disorders are extremely treatable yet very few people actually get treated for them. It's upsetting to know that so many people are willing to suffer with a disorder rather than change or fix it. Even if it's not affecting their everyday lives, it is still something that they have to wonder, "will it happen today?" The idea that so many people could control their fears but don't know how was saddening but interesting.

What are anxiety disorders?
Anxiety disorders are a phycological condition that cause excessive fear and worry about subjects outside of its victims control. Unlike typical fears and worries, anxiety orders often interfere with a persons day to day schedule actually making it herder for them to go about their day.
