He does not shy away from criticizing political figures and other users. From these screenshots, it is clear he is very against Trump. He shows his distaste by calling Trump's followers, "Trumpkins". It is a word he uses often when scrolling through his twitter. Pitts retweets others' tweets to add his own comment. He also comments on other controversial topics like the Kaepernick situation and the oppression against people of color. Being a black man himself, he's more adamant about equality. Pitts expresses his frustration against the situation that people of color experience almost daily whether out loud or silently. As stated in one of his tweets, "...how many of [African Americans] can fathom patriotism it takes to defend a country that despises [them]?" He expresses his frustration at a dead end that a community must reach due to the oppression given due to American society.
