The current COVIC-19 situation has forced Government to rethink of the potential of teaching online. Though digital education has long, rich and successful history, keeping the approach simple, consistent and responsive is the problem especially the vulnerable group e.g. students living in rural areas and those that cannot afford to be online all day because of poverty. 

To avoid digital chaos and vulnerable groups being left behind, I embarked on short audio-visual media lessons (video coverage) in line with the school curriculum starting with Physics subject. Recorded lessons are stored in memory sticks (flash drives) which learners can use as a supplementary material (offline). 

This approach does not require internet and can be used continuously to compliment the online lessons. Other subjects will start as more volunteers signify interest. (Using SCAMPER Unknowingly)

Good day Dr. From earlier, I tapped into the notion that 'Science is a continuous study of the universe'. This is because I believe science was birthed as a result of the curiosity of the human mind.

Take for example, before the inventions of electricity and the light bulb , the world was in a 'dark age'. I use the term 'dark age' because despite not being born at the time, I imagine how people lived. There was no swift source of communication and information, no street lights, no cars; everything you see today that makes use of electricity was not available during the dark age (from household to industries), think of it.

The discovery of electronic devices started surfacing in the likes of the electric bulb, street lights, television, to name a few.
This brings us to the fact that the more we study and solve a particular problem more problems arise (you can't take that away) and the human mind is always seeking solutions to these problems or the potential problems.

Before the year 1885, there was nothing like a motor car in the world (not a single one), take a look around you today, our streets are filled with unimaginable types of cars, buses, trucks, trailers, and bulldozers (really?) We even have 'danfo buses' now... LOL 😂 Pardon my manners Dr, I couldn't help but laugh. But there's a disadvantage to these inventions because cars and trucks produce a lot of carbon monoxide which is dangerous to our health and contributes immensely to global warming. That's a problem that led to the invention of electric cars in the likes of Tesla. These electric cars have zero-carbon emissions therefore helping to eradicate problems faced by the carbon-powered engines.

I have only focused on the invention of electricity and cars in my attempt to justify my definition of science and I believe I can only scratch the tip of this gigantic iceberg.

As a budding scientist, I would define science this way:
Science refers to a system of acquiring knowledge, using observation and experimentation to describe and explain natural phenomena.

To justify the above definition:

The process of science is a way of building knowledge about our environment and discovering new ideas that shed light on the world around us.
These ideas are initially unreliable, but as they cycle through the process of science and are tested and re-tested in different ways, we become increasingly confident in them.
Let consider the construction of brigdes on the ocean. This is an application of science in the knowledge of static equilibrium. The bridge on an ocean is first constructed, tested and re-tested to affirm its strength capacity to last a number of years before it is finally ready for use.

ANSWER: science can be defined as the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiments.

The definition above can be justified by taking into consideration the motives behind the invention of air craft.
The power of flight inspire the Wright Brothers since they first saw birds flying in the sky, hence they carried out *intellectual and practical activities* which leads to the  invention of aircraft.

This was first put into test in a kite, then a series of gliders, the first two gliders fail to perform as the inventor did not provide enough lift, as such the gliders were fully incontrollable,  they noted this by  *studying the structure of the kite.* 

They proceeded by building a wind tunnel and *conducted experiment* to determine the best wind shape for air plane, taking into consideration the conditions for the air craft to fly from place to place, this underline the ethics of science.
