There was technology. Typewriters had been introduced and classes were taught how to type on the typewriter. My mother agreed that learning how to type did help her type faster in the current time.

School in 2000's

There was technology. Computers were introduced to certain schools and students were able to use computers to look up information. Students were also taught how to type on the computer.

There was technology, laptops were introduced. Schools mainly still did work on paper and pencil but brought technology into the curriculum. Schools taught students how to type and about internet safety.
