         <title>Anti Federalist </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Anti-Federalist was created after the 1787 US constitution was ratified. Anti-Federalists believed that the new government would be too powerful and would threaten individual liberties because of how powerful it became.&nbsp;<br>Ended soon after the opposition to the constitution stopped.&nbsp;<br>Some Key political leaders of the Anti Federlist party include&nbsp;<br>Patrick Henery, James Withrop,&nbsp;Melancton Smith, and George Mason. </div>]]></description>

         <title>American Party/Know Nothing</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>started in 1844 as a secret organization of people in the North who feared computation from jobs from immigrants, they also strongly opposed the catholic church. They worked to keep Catholics out of political offices and deny immigrants private sector jobs. (Ex- owning a business, or any non government job)&nbsp;<br>The Party ended after the party refused to take as a result lost the presidential election of 1856 and later many of its members joined the republican party.&nbsp;<br>Key leaders include,&nbsp;<br>Lewis Charles Levin and Millard Fillmore.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Starting in 1848 to oppose Slavery their slogan was "free soil, free speech, free labor, and free men".&nbsp;<br>The party ended in 1852 after a poor performance at the presidential election receiving only 5% of the vote. Many members would later join the Republican party. &nbsp;<br>Key leaders of the free soiler party include,&nbsp;<br>Salmon P. Chase, John P. Hale, and Charles Sumner. </div>]]></description>

The Populist supported the woman's suffrage movement. The party was short lived however managed to succeed with most of its platform. <br>Ended due to failing to be able to get enough support, and also because it was not able to expand and adapt. <br>Key Leaders include, <br>Annie LePorte Diggs, Ignatius Donnelly, and James B. The main goals were to address problems caused by industrialization, immigration, as well as political corruption. <br>The Party ended in 1920 after Roosevelt refused the party's nomination and endorsed a moderately republican nominee.&nbsp; <br>Key leaders include, <br>Theodore Roosevelt and Robert M.
