Within this video, you will learn how to write notes and how to take them digitally as well. There are benefits to both types of note-taking that is highlighted throughout the video. With physically taken notes, you help to re-emphasize points and themes within your brain, while with digital notes, you have an ensured back-up in case something should happen. Taking notes and then scanning them into a phone or device of some sort will allow you access to both of these benefits at the same time. Another point made within this video is to use a "three point system" by making digital notes and reminders for assignments and events, creating a weekly hard-copy of these new events, and then referencing this list throughout the course of a week, repeating weekly. In summary, this video explains how to utilize both the digital and analog note-taking methods in order to get the most out of your study time.

How to Study Math and Science Effectively

Math and science are very difficult subjects for many people, and part of the reason why is because of how they study it. In this video, the College Info Geek review the differences between Organic Chemistry and Chemistry, which requires different disciplines of thought and no math for Organic Chemistry. Sometimes there are not step-by-step equations and formulas, and this can be complicated for some. A way to fix this, the video suggests, is to practice and refer to problems that you've experienced before. They emphasize building upon a foundation with examples and problems that you encounter. In summary, this video focuses on tricks and techniques that are important to build a solid understanding of the concepts rather than making solid rules and to not "just memorize."

How to Take Good Notes from Books

This video goes over the process of highlighting both digital and physical books in order to maximize your understanding of the topic. This video recommends using book flags so that not only are sections highlighted, but they also stick out of the side of the book to make finding them easier. This video also mentions the slippery slope of highlighting important information and remembering the information. In a sense, picking out information from the book should be equivalent to understanding said information as far as priority is concerned. It is very easy to go too far when highlighting, so it is important to discern what is actually important from what is simply intriguing or new. That being said, a way to overcome this is to read the selection multiple times to make the important information stand out. This video helps you learn to effectively take notes out of a book in order to maximize the amount that you can study.
