In the spring of 2028, I will have (hopefully) graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from Miami. By keeping semi-good grades and a GPA above 3.0 I will attempt to get into a graduate program.

To become a Physical Therapist I will need to have 50 observation hours. 25 inpatient and 25 outpatient. This does depend on the program you are going for but generally it's 50.

Apply for graduate schools

I will need to start applying for graduate schools at the start of my senior year. This can be a stressful and long process that will take a LOT of writing. I will also have to take into account the money required and if I have to take out a loan. Hopefully, I will find a good school that's not terribly priced.

Licensure exam

After completing graduate school, I will need to pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) exam. This exam is required if I want to practice PT. Upon completion, I will be granted My license. After that job searching will begin.

Campus life

There are many resources and opportunities at Miami that I can take advantage of while I'm a student here. One of the main ones is the success center. In the success center, you can find people who will help me on my journey into applying for grad school and building a resume. There is also my academic advisor who is available to help me schedule classes and any other issues I might have while on campus.
