They start with a big question and start the creative process. They like using visuals, it’s helps them thinking clearly. Because there are several people, they can inspire each other and solve the problem together. At the end everyone put comments on different concepts. The last step is thinking about how to realize the winning concept. It is the cooperation from different people with different quality’s what makes it powerful.

Because everyone has different qualities it’s efficient to work with different people. That way you can create a good concept.

Open idea is an online open tool that takes you through the process of creative thinking and innovation.

It’s a social community where you receive feedback form others and can give your feedback to them. First it’s about quantity, collect as much as possible inspiration, like visuals. The more visuals the better. After collecting, people put comments on different concepts. So at the end, there will be a ‘winning idea’.

OpenIDEO works with 3 fases: the inspiration fase, the concepting fase and the evaluation fase. During the inspiration fase  they are giving the client some inspiration. The next fase is the concepting fase. Where they are testing their creative muscles. They are also trying to collaborate with others to gain more inspiration and other views on the company. The third, and last fase, is the evaluation fase. In this fase they are evaluating the ideas and they will also pick the winning idea. This idea will also be able for development.

OpenIDEO stands for as well as quality AND quantity. They provide an online tool where you can get feed back from others. This way you will get another view on your own perspective. I like to call OpenIDEO a Platform for innovation.

The goal is to solve a problem together by creating an innovative concept. The process has three phases: inspiration, concepting, evaluation. Everyone starts with uploading information about the problem in forms of video's, stories etcetera. Then the innovative people will use this as inspiration to create a concept. After the concepts are posted, people can rate the concepts on how good they are. The best rated concept has the winning idea. Open idea is a global communicity. They combine opninions, ideas and inspiration in a optimistic way to solve problems together.
 
 
The first step is to formulate the main question
The next step is to inspire eachother. After this phase it’s time to come up with concepts that contributes to the solve the question
 
In this phase it’s important to be realistic and build on eachother. Collebaration is very imporant.
 
After this everyone gives does his or her evaluation on the ideas. In all the phases quantiy goes above qualiyu.
