The message that I am trying to convey to the viewer of this piece is a sense of obligation and maybe even a bit of guilt that shows people who wealth inequality can affect people. By including eyes, sad blues, and a sort of 'detachment' from the main image (homeless person), I hope to exemplify these ideas through my finished product. 

The first step when completing this piece will be using graphite to map out areas / create the eyes in the image. Next, I will use blue acrylic and allow it to sort of 'seep over' the graphite eyes and trail off of the page. Finally, I will use thread and fabric to play along with color schemes and symbolism as the last step.
