I chose this picture because it is not like the common acid graphic that I have ever seen before. “Acid Graphic” originated in Acid House music in the 1990s and was used to design album covers. Now it has been used as a design style and become a trend. I love this design because of this approximately symmetrical composition. Both sides have different elements, but the structures are similar. The emphasis can easily be found, the” ACID” word over a traditional painting with an arched shape, but there are not implied lines in it, this means people can see all other information at the same time. All these things make this design full of energy. In addition, this traditional painting is distinct from other elements, and this make this design special. I think I can use this style to design my own music product, such as the albums and brand goods.

HIGH SATURATION COLOR

This picture appealed to me because of the color, which is my favorite combination. The basic colors are blue, green, and violet, and they are collocated with yellow and grey (neutral color). And the other reason is the saturation. High saturation color is a symbol of acid color, and it is impressive and can catch the eye of the audience immediately. I created a cosmetics brand with this combination before and found this can be used for many other things, for example, it can express the thermal imagery of human body, or show the metallic texture of products. I think these colors will be used widely in my brand.

I chose this one because I am a fan of ultra-modern. This font contains thick curve lines and thin straight lines, which show the feeling of music successfully. These also allow this font looks varied and balanced. And the sharp angles make it look aggressive and modern. I can imagine how beautiful it would be if I made it into a 3D model, which could have different styles by adding different textures. The other reason is that although the shapes of font are uncommon, it is still easy to read.
