I selected the topic on newcomer students because, for the past three years, my school has had an influx of students new to the country. Most of these students are from Central and Latin American countries. In these three years, we have not received any information on how to work with newcomer students. I am in search of answers to help my newcomer students and their families. As well as teaching strategies to promote English Acquisition. My goal is that I am able to gather information and resources that allows myself and my peers to support our new students.
