With Germany economy thriving, the citizens had jobs with small salaries which was better then no job at all, businesses could have contracts and not be affected by communism. People had hope in the caring government as there was an increase in the modern military. There was faith in the government as they provided paying jobs for the citizens and had went against TOV.
