For my comic I decided to draw the book of Job .I started with chapter 2 .In chapter 2 Job is cursed with sores and sicknesses .After drawing quick sketches of the stump and ash I got and idea of seeing Job sitting on it. But then I realized it said he sat on the ash heap .So I drew Job sitting on Ash.

I wanted to find materials connected to the first I had Job. The bandages helped create and alternative costume for Job. However It's not a fixed character design.

I sketched thickets because I thought the environment was a good way of reflecting Jobs misfortune. Also I wanted Job to look post apocalyptic .

In my comic I want to show Job's fences ,to do that I had to draw my fence. I found that being mindful of perspectives is helpful for observational drawing.

In my comic I had a vision of Job having a dream. In his dream I saw Job having dinner with his family .I pictured a large table for his family with cutlery fruits and baskets.

I had this picture of Jesus saving Job in Job's dream. So I tried mixing your stereotypical Jesus drawing with a lions face because I wanted to give his face a bit of an edge and dominance.

I soon abandoned ship in this design because his friends looked too flashy .Their facial designs cooled too weird to be realistic .Worst of all the end result looked meaningless.

Elihu initial model

Elihu was another character that came to see Job. His character design was not the best. The head scarf and face cloth looked unrealistic. I thought it was a bad drawing because the design was complicated for nothing.

Since the book of Job is set in biblical time ,I figured it would be a worthwhile experience to draw sandals. But I'm doubtful I'll draw a sandal for a close up scene in my comic.

The book of Job part 2 is set outside so I recorded the flowers and frog .I will most likely use these objects in the end of the comic because I don't have space to fit them in at the moment.

Back and White Color scheme

Like in the previous module ,I would like to continue with the black and white color scheme .This arc in the book of Job is sorrow full ,dramatic and frustrating so I think black and white colors will complement my final outcome well

My comic is set in dystopian setting in a realm of gangs and violence .My character Casey and his sister ,Kassidy, are returning to their birth home Pandora .Like all places there is unresolved history with the people and places .As the story continues you will learn more about Casey and his past.
