More music performances, or talent quests…something interactive now and again to relieve stress of our peers, reduce tension, get to know each other and share our talents. (I personally would love a school songwriting competition but I’ll probably have to speak to EPIC about it)

A timetable/roster/schedule for the library…eg. Monday recess year sevens, Monday lunch year 8, Tuesday year 9, Wednesday year ten, and so forth. This would clear traffic in the library and allow everyone to fairly use the provided resources. It would give everyone a set time to use the printer especially before assessment dates so they don’t have an excuse like “I didn’t get a chance to print” (as some kids in my class have said) and make it stress free

Regular tutoring sessions or times students can see teachers without interrupting them from their job - like the maths microskills - gives a chance to complete homework and allows students to feel comfortable asking their teachers for assistance. Sometimes we don’t especially need the teachers help in class, but out of class we have a question about a topic
If students are in a class where they are being taught material that is too easy or too hard, they will not learn as much as they could with one on one sessions with their teachers which would see exactly what areas they as an individual that they need to improve on.

Make the existing systems that the school has in place more known, for example the merit awards. I have a few sitting in my room but I’m not sure what to do with them.

Thank you, and you have my vote for SLT 2022-2023 😊
