I can use recycled materials for my class. Using different shapes and sizes of boxes and tins, i can make noisemakers.

In a rural place, when almost any resources are scarce and hard to find, I would like to use the things that we have and can easily get from our surroundings. We can use leaf, stone, sand, stick, and water. And then add a little creativity to make it a safe and fun learning resources. This may take some time and effort, but it can be useful in a place where things are really difficult to get. There are so many ways to turn these natural resources into something useful in teaching. I would like to give a few examples of how to use them. We can use leaf or petal in different color to teach students about colours. We can also use stones in counting numbers, and using any physical objects nearby us to teach words and vocabulary. There are still so many other creative and advance ways to use what we can easily and closely get from our environment, and then turn them into recources, the creative learning tools.

If you have an open campus, you can use plants and animals as science and math resources. After telling a story about a certain kind of insect as a fairy tale, the children knew exactly where to find it.

Nature walks are good for observing the natural world and for getting fresh air. Sometimes story time is under a tree.

Woodsticks

I always make sure I have plenty of woodsticks in my classroom.

I use them as name tags, to teach vocabulary, colors, and even patterns.

I really love reusing woodsticks because my kids understand the value of materials made from natural resources.
