To Jojo Story, a book so short but expresses a lot. Jojo's story is that surviving child to a war attack in his people, in fact the only survivor of that people seemed to be him, a helpless and innocent child who tells the story of his family, as he lived and with whom he spent his days , his dreams and desires in life, when reading what he counts generates a feeling of tenderness, at the same time generates concern because we do not know if the child will be well in the future, everything seems to improve when he meets Chris that takes him to a Home for children and from there the story takes another path where other children's stories are told with experiences that had never lived.

This book shows another face of the currency in a war, as children learn, grow and live with fear because of a war event. It is not fair that those little ones end up with traumas for the bad decisions of other people. This tale is narrated by Jojo, who tells us his heartbreaking story after having to see his entire village and family die at the hands of "bad people" as he describes them. The story begins with Jojo minutes after what happened, tells us a little about how he hid to survive (being the only survivor in his town). He tells us how minutes later he was rescued by Chris, who works publishing incredible stories like Jojo's. From that moment in which he manages to get out of that disaster, his life is completely transformed, since thanks to his new friend who leaves him in a children's home he is able to try to move forward and overcome his situation.


There are a lot of things we can learn from this story and actually great similarities to real life. I don't know exactly what message the writer was trying to give readers or what kind of specific situation drew inspiration for it. However, like any book, it is interesting that each reader draws their own conclusions and learnings.

That is why from my point of view this story tries to portray the history of wars, forced displacements, etc. from the point of view of children, and how this affects them physically and psychologically.
