The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the 12-week Friendship Club effectively improved communication skills and the overall well-being of elementary students. The participants of this study were 34 elementary children, who were between ages 6-12. These children were identified as students who were struggling with social interactions and friendships. There were also parents and teachers who contributed to the study. The research method that was used was the mixed methods research approach. In this study, both quantitative and qualitative methods were used. Children, parents, and teachers completed questionnaires both before and after the 12-week Friendship Club. </p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

The participants consisted of 48 school counselors from across the United States. They were organized into nine groups- depending on grade levels and urban vs. rural. The research method used was qualitative research method as they had a focus group based approach. This study gathered most of its information from interviews with the school counselors.</p>]]></description>

The study would determine whether participation enhances abilities such as communication, problem-solving, and stress management. The participants included 28 children- 14 female and 14 male- all attending a public school during the 2022-2023 school year. Data was collected through quantitative and qualitative research methods. Quantitative data included: personal information forms, Social-Emotional Skills Perception Scale, Pre and Post tests, etc. Qualitative data included: session diaries, process evaluation forms, and observations.  </p>]]></description>

The researchers goal was to determine if the originally proposed five-factor model (exhaustion, incompetence, negative work environment, devaluing clients, and the decline in personal life) was accurate in the counselor burnout area. The participants of the study were all certified school counselors. There were a total of 272 school counselors who had 25-27 years of experience. The primary research method was quantitative as the study primarily used the CBI model (Counselor Burnout Inventory). </p>]]></description>

The participants of the study were 339 school counselors from across the United States. The participants were both male and female. Their age ranged from 27 years old to 67 years old. This study used a mixed research method. The design was a cross-sectional, quantitative and qualitative study. Researches measured participants wellness, burnout, and stress levels through questionnaires.</p>]]></description>

Some things that this study observed were the school counselor caseload sizes, yearly progress goals, and admin support. The main goal of this study was to gain insight into the real-world counselor conditions that are affecting their well-being and resulting to burnout. The participants of this study were a randomized list of 1,000 certified school counselors from across the United States. Women made up the majority of the participant population. The research method that was used was mixed methods. This study used the Counselor Burnout Inventory (CBI), School Counselor Activity Rating Scale (SCARS), Demographic information, Qualitative question, and Data Entry and Analysis. A few results from this study are that performing non-counseling duties significantly leads to burnout and having adequate admin support helps prevent school counselor burnout. </p>]]></description>

They researched whether therapy dogs could promote students psychological well-being and contribute to a positive school climate. The participants of this study included students and staff from four rural school districts in New York. The research method used was a mixed- methods research approach. The quantitative research used were surveys relating to the effectiveness of therapy dogs. The qualitative component included discussions with the participants discussing therapy dogs in the educational school setting.</p>]]></description>

The participants of this study included 270 certified school counselors from around the United States. The research method used for this study was the quantitative research method. This study involved collecting numerical data from 270 school counselors using surveys, then they used a statistical analyses to review the collected data. </p>]]></description>

The primary focus was reducing stress, anxiety and depression. The participants were 40 students who attended school counseling in Iran. The students were randomly split into an experimental group and a control group.  The experimental group participated in 10 sessions of mental self-care training, each session lasting around two hours. The participants took a mental health stress scale and a academic/motivation academic performance rating scale. Followed with data analysis conducted by the researchers. The primary research method for this study was quantitative research method.</p>]]></description>
