Although in the poem it can be taken literally that they are fighting to the death with honor, from the context it can be taken as a fight against oppression. That although they were oppressed they would not take it head down.</div>]]></description>

For so long Violets meant artificial wants, like accessories and loud bright places. Eventually the author remembered to appreciate nature the way it is.</div>]]></description>
