First it started by calling her names a school then it was finished by the phone. In the article it says "Mallory Grossman, 12, took her own life after she was bombarded with bullying messages via Snapchat and texts, family attorney Bruce Nagel said in a Monday press release". This quote shows how a phone and peoples words can make someone kill them-self. The Mallory family are suing the the school because the school didn't help there 12 year old girl.

This story is about a girl who hanged her self because she was being cyber bullied. It first started when a boy and a girl started to text Gabrielle Green terrible messages on her phone. The article says "started rumors of the victim having sexually transmitted diseases,’ called her ‘vulgar’ names, and threatened to expose ‘sensitive’ details of her personal life." Once this was sent to her phone she took her life by hanging herself in the closet. This shows how words that speak or text to someone hurt them or possibly kill themselves. The family blames the parents and the school for not doing more to stop bullying and cyber bullying.

 

Cyberbullying is the effect of bullying taking place online; This was learned through "What Is Cyberbullying" posted by stopcyberbullying.gov. The most common places are Social Media, SMS, Instant message, and email. In  schools cyberbulling creates an effect of plummeting grades a downfall of positive activities and behavior. Cyberbullying is persistent do to it happining 24 hours a day and having no relief. "Most information communicated electronically is permanent and public, if not reported and removed. A negative online reputation, including for those who bully, can impact college admissions, employment, and other areas of life." This means that if someone is bullied online and it becomes big enough to where employers can see this or if you cyberbully than you can not get the job due bullying. Not many laws and sanctions are made due to this being a fairly new topic though discipline will be needed if caught. 

An 18 year old high school girl named Brandy Vela had committed suicide because of cyber bullying. People were so mean to Brandy, they sent mean text messages to her, made fake accounts on social media to make her look bad, someone went far enough to make an account of her on a dating website, lying about her age, posting pictures of her, putting her phone number, and said that, "she is giving herself up for sex for free."  "We have lots of incident reports, and they always say the same thing: They can’t do anything about it,” Jacqueline Vela said." It is so sad that cyber bully can lead to this. Please help stop this. If not, this could be someone you love and care about.

The lawyer described the messages as “vile and malicious.” The parents sued the school for not stopping the bullying.

The following paragraph was based on the news article “Two Florida Teens busted for cyberbullying after girl hangs self” by THE ASSOCIATED PRESS.  A girl, age 12, had unfortunately taken the decision to end her life after being cyber bullied. Her name was Gabriella Green, and it appeared that her death was influenced by two Surfside Middle School students, who were thankfully caught and arrested. They’re names were hidden because they were minors. The cyber assaults on Gabriella included “rumors about green in person, and online.” “ ’her actions consisted of starting rumors of the victim having… diseases , … name calling …and threats to ‘expose’ personal and sensitive details of the victim’s life’…”. Certainly the police will try to prevent these things from happening again.

This article talks about 3 girls that killed themsevls because they were geting bullyed. It also talks about how cyberbullying is the hardest to comfort, but also the most rare. The bullys don't think about the consiquences and what may happen to there victims. After the chirdren's death the parents started helping stop cyberbullying. Cyberbullying keeps getting a higher percentage. The aticle talks about bullying too, and how chrilden are afraid to go to school the next day. The article gives advice to parents and what they should do. The passege says "These bullies used social media to follow these girls virtually everywhere — until they broke." I think that those bulleys need to find away to another way to take out there anger. The year the article was crated was 2018.

 When i read this i had goosebumps all over and stated shaking a little and i though what kind of jerk would do that. I also want the culprits to be put to jail for life for what they have done. Also cyber bullying has to stop right now

The girls spread information that was not true. The girls caused the death of an innocent girl just for there own gain. A boy told her "If you're going to do it, Just do it." and that is exactly what she did. I feel bad that such a tragedy happened to such a person of young age.

On Monday, January 21, 2019 with the arrest of an eighteen year old Wenatchman for two counts of Cyberstalking.

   

The article, "12yos arrested for cyber bullying before suicide" written by Jason Dearen. This article shows two 12 year old pre-teens, a boy and girl, in Panama City Beach for cyber bullying Gabiella Green leading to death on January 10, 2019. The bullying was caused due how the two pre-teens were threatening to spread personal information about her until one day she could not stand the enormous pressure of them threatening to spreading personal information. So she hung herself. But also before she hung herself she video chatted the boy and showed her the scars of rope on her neck and told her she was going to and the boy said "'If you're going to do it, just do it,' and ended the call."
A statement that records this would be that "   ... and threats to 'expose' personal and sensitive details of the victim's life," the police report said. ". This is very sad due to how the boy said "do it" to when she was going to commit suicide. Even tho if she was going to commit suicide or hurt herself, you shouldn't be knowing personal information about someone or even to try to threaten some one to spread personal information. What was the point of doing it anyway to both the boy and the girl. Put it in your shoes and see how it feels.
