ASEAN stands for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. It is a group of 10 countries in Southeast Asia that work together to help each other. They make rules about trade, peace, and helping during disasters. ASEAN wants all its members to grow stronger together.

Countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines are members. They share ideas, help each other with jobs and safety, and protect the environment. ASEAN is kind of like a team—when one country needs help, the others support it.

Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is part of the ASEAN group, where countries share many natural resources. ASEAN countries have rich resources like oil, natural gas, coal, fish, rice, and timber. One important place for resources is the South China Sea, which provides fish and oil for many countries in the region.

Vietnam, like other ASEAN countries, works together to protect these resources and the sea. Besides resources, ASEAN has a unified culture. Even though each country has its own language and traditions, they share a common goal of working together for a better future. This unity helps make ASEAN strong and peaceful.
