건조기후지역의 옷차림
 온몸을 감쌀 수 있고 헐렁한 옷을 입는다. 이유는 모래바람과 태양빛을 막고 통풍이 잘 통하기 때문이다.

열대 사막 기후에서는 오아시스 부근에서 자라는 대추야자의 열매를 말린 것이 주요 식량입니다.
대추야자의 열매는 매우 달고, 탄수화물을 제공하기 때문에 한대 유목민과 무역상인의 주식이었습니다. 
그리고 밀을 이용한 음식도 많이 먹습니다.
