Everyone in the world knows that China has a long and great culture,and we can see lots of China town everywhere,not only Chinese people but also Chinese restaurant ,so my identity,gives me a sense of pride.

I recognise it as an negative thing because

the stereotype has damaged the country identity seriously to Chinese people that some people still thought that China is sperated with HK Macau and TW，which even feeling glorious that their place used to be colonies.

I think this deeply relates to me especially as both Arab and muslim. Arabs have been victims of profiling since forever, whether thats in airports, buses, trains or even while walking. I believe this happened specifically because of the western view that influenced the world. Not only is it profiling as a criminal, but many people even go beyond to commit hate crimes towards arabs and muslims and justify it as means of defense.

Gender inequality relates to my identity, because being a woman, specially in south america is quite difficult. Safety, discrimination, femicide, etc. Growing up in a patriarchal society as a woman, has direct impact in identity.

I believe that it’s neither negative or positive, it depends. Sometimes media is positive when it’s raising awareness of some global issues like global warming, black lives matter etc. It acts as a support to some people as they can see that more people are aware of issues they care about, as well as make adjustments to their behaviours or actions, benefiting global citizens. On the other hand, media can be extremely dangerous as information spreads out rapidly and sometimes are uncontrollable. It may pose threats to the victims of fake news.

I’m a female. As a girl I have seen many examples of discrimination and inconvenience.This topic is quite negative because such topics can easily cause more misunderstandings.Although feminism and stereotypes are evolving year by year the resulting inequalities have not completely disappeared.For example the Dual burden.Many women were devoted themselves into the family like raising babies and doing housework without getting anything in return.
