Most of the cases in children are from their neighborhood and not their school. As long as everyone inside the school building wears a mask (and preferably vaccinated) than there is almost no concern!

It's comforting to see some evidence also supporting the safety of in-person school. I, and hopefully many others, do no want to go back online. So, with this responsibility, I hope kids (and parents/guardians) are careful and wear their masks.

Although I'm glad school is now in person; makes learning for me much better, I think this is a false statement. and for the obvious that schools are not "healthiest" for kids to be at during the new outbreak of the variant and even before the outbreak. saying this makes people feel relaxed and less worried which makes people think that its alright to not protect themselves or their family properly.

This article describes that by wearing masks and having ventilation in class rooms, schools are not at risk of being/becoming covid-19 hot spots. A team went out to collect date about the spread of covid-19 in schools and after thorough research came to the conclusion that there was no evidence of covid-19 being spread from student to student in large amounts. I definitely was nervous that going back to school would cause a rise in students covid cases, so this article is a relief in a way. By wearing masks hopefully schools will continue to not be super spreaders and cases won't go up.
