Rosa Marie Burger was a resister in the Holocaust and helped and saved many people. It all started when Hitler came to power. She said many things since then changed drastically. She started doing work for the government. She had worked for the same lawyer for a while, one day everything changed in her eyes. She was a very sweet and kind person and she had got a gift for her mother, it was a radio. Back during this time it was illegal to listen to other countries news and share with anyone else, but she knew her mom was Britsh and wanted to hear what they had to say about the war. That when she had realized how unfair the Germans where. When she went to work the next day she noticed her coworker acting different towards her so when he left she had gone though files and saw many made on her mom and many people he knew in her village. She went start to the people in the files and had asked them about what had happened. This is when she realized she wanted to help. She started taking in refugees and helping them hide well soilders came around. This was just the start of Rosa resistance through out the Holocaust.

"I saw girls weeping- my friends, girls I had grown up with. Their bundles were placed in the last car and the people were herded onto the train. We lived not far from Dachau."

Rosa had lived in a small village with her mother, at the beging of the war she remember there was lots of bombs and very close by. She remebers one in particular because it was very close to her village. She saw the village after and thought to herself how horrible it was and how many families were killed or their homes were ruined
