This gives employers the ability to cut employment ties with anyone they feel is not a good match for the workplace. Employees need to know their rights, they can't be fired for race, sex, age, disability, national origin, religion or pregnancy status!</p>]]></description>

This law is important because it gives consequences for being biased. It provides protection from: race, religion, national origin, color, sex, including gender, gender identity, pregnancy, and sexual orientation. This enabled the opportunity for continuous improvement that allows for additional workforce equity.</p>]]></description>
