As you all may know, Monday is Labor Day! That means we do not have any school on Monday! I encourage you all to take your students out side and take advantage of the amazing weather we're going to have in San Diego- enjoy all of your days off!

We will be following the same tentative schedule as we did the first day of school. As you can see, our groups will remain the exact same as last week and will the entirety of the school year. Please use this Padlet as guidance to ensure all students attend their proper Group. 

Students will be continuing to use SeeSaw to complete daily assignments. Please remind your students to complete each assignment. As a reminder, each assignment will be due one week following to the assignment date. (EX: Assigned on Monday 9/6, due Monday 9/13)

I will begin using ClassDojo in our class this week as well. Please keep an eye out on your email to ensure that all students and parents are able to view their Dojo points. I'm using this to encourage students to talk, collaborate and socialize with other students in the class. For example, many students are not discussing discussion questions during Breakout Room time. In order to encourage them to dive into discussions, I will be giving points to students who are participating with an end of the week 'prize' for the student with the highest amount of points. 

I went ahead and continued to attach the family presentation, which has IT contact information, SeeSaw tutorials, and more on there to better support you and all of our students.
