On Saturday morning, Polish and allied military aircraft were scrambled early Saturday after Russia launched a massive aerial assault on Ukraine, including strikes that targeted borders with Poland. Russia launched 579 attack drones and various types of dummy drones overnight into Saturday. Ukrainian President Volodymyer Zelensky said that at least 8 people have been killed, dozens more injured.

The Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility has held over 8,000 detained people in the first 6 months. Police responded to an early morning shooting after a report of a sniper on top of the roof. CNN says at least 2 detainees were shot, one dead and no officers were injured. The incident is still under investigation, this was not the first recorded incident.

In eastern Ukraine, Moscow's war machine has been churning mile by mile through the fields of Luhansk Donetsk region. Russia has been trying to gain full control of the area along with two more regions to the west. The area also includes big cities that are still under Ukrainian Control, including Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk and Slovynansk.

Further north Russia has been pushing towards Kupyansk in east of the Kharkiv region as part of its efforts to capture the whole of the Luhansk, and encircle northern Donetsk.
