I get ready for the day by showering, grabbing a bite to eat (I'm not a big breakfast eater so usually it's a protein shake or some fruit), and getting dressed for the humidity of the Chicago. I love to spend my time hanging out with friends at the beach or Northwestern's beautiful Lakefill, which is a little peninsula on Lake Michigan with paths, firepits, benches, and plenty of trees for hammocking. If I remember to book a tee time before they fill up, my days can also be spent out on the golf course. For lunch and dinner I usually make plans on the fly, but our apartment building has grills so I have made good use of them. I often find myself cooking burgers when we invite friends over to swim at our apartment's pool. If not something like eggs or anything a bit light I might skip breakfast. I'm involved in a few programs so I would spend the morning catching up on all my assignments then I can take a break. I usually relax with YouTube or text with some of my friends then I try to do a bit of preparation for the upcoming school term. After that it's usually around 1pm so I would eat lunch. I play with my cat whenever she feels like taking me on haha but afterwards I go and exercise for about an hour and a half. By then it is around 4 p.m so I would go run around with my 4 dogs until I'm completely drained. I then clean up and give them all of their food. After taking a shower I'm usually on the hunt for something to eat and I've been trying to cook more to expand my skills so I would try different combinations once I'm up to it! After everything it's around 9pm and unfortunately I have a habit of staying up until 1a.m watching movies/TV series, but it's summer so it's not as if I have school the next day. I will walk you through a summer day in my life.

The first thing I do in the morning is wake up, or else I would be dead if I didn't. After I wake I check my phone for the time, it's problably around 11am. I then get up brush my teeth and wash my face, go straight to the kitchen and make some pancakes to boost my energy. After I finish my breakfast I wash my dishes, I then shower, get dressed and start cleaning. I'm not a big fan of washing the dishes, so I always sweep the house and fold clothes with my mother. Around 1:30pm I pick up where I left off with my Naruto streak, my niece sometimes joins me. I watch it until 4pm , I then turn on the tb and I watch soccer match till 04:45pm. While I'm watching I am eating "dinner" at the same time. Around 5pm I go outside that's mostly the time my nieces and nephews play outside, because the sun is going down and it's not as hot as it was around 4pm. I then play with them until 5:55pm I take 5 min to go to my attic a.k.a my safe place. At exactly 6pm I start venting to God. I talk to him about global issues, solutions for those global issues, what I see my self doing, I talk about my future with him and stuff that come up in the moment. It mostly an hour long conversation. After that I take a bath, go on social media, message my friends, check my mails and I play video games. Then around 9pm I watch ufc or fight Island with my family, and afterwards a movie. I go to bed around 01:58 am not to sleep though. I go on wattpad and read books , I then fall asleep while reading.

Hi, I start my day at 8 am by brushing my teeth and fill my water bottle and get ready for a shower. I made my breakfast early as I was going to work today. I watched some tv and used my phone until I needed to get ready. Once it was time to get ready, I got my clothes and made sure they were clean and put them on. I left the house for the bus and went to the mall where I work. I wanted to try a strawberry funnel cake frappucino from starbucks and walked there to get some and walked back to my job. I started at 11 am and ended at 6 pm. I stocked my station and clocked out, meeting my sister at the store, Forever 21 since she was shopping there and she dropped me off. Once I got home, I ate and took a shower. I do some summer homework, daily Duolingo lesson, and SAT test practice. After that, I watch the Olympics or the show Beat Shazam, anything that I find interesting. I do some exercises on youtube and get ready to go to bed, brushing my teeth, floss, and doing mouthwash.

When I'm done with that, I'll help in the househould. In Suriname the weather is always hot so on a typical summer day we usually go swimming at a resort or sometimes outside the city. I then spend time with my family. In my free time I'll go out with my friends. We will then do all kinds of fun things, example go out for some food or maybe paint. Sometimes I'll explore the nature.
The shows I'm currently watching is All American and Grownish. Super fun series to watch! In the case we go to the gym that day we usually spend an hour due to corona. After the gym we usually go to the beach and relax in the water. We then go to our aunt as she lives close. Our parents puck up us after their work. At night I usually read or hang out w my friends on discord. If I end up reading I tend to just read until I fall asleep.

If we have classes our day varies. We have classes from 8-3. We then go on the basketball court after classes and play until our parents come and pick us up. After i wake up i check my messages to see how my friends are holding up in the group chat or how they started their mornings. After that i brush my teeth, shower and wear my clothes. Prepare some breakfast (even if its not considered breakfast at the time) and eat. My dad usually still works and sometimes my mom's busy so i cook for the house and later on the day for the dogs. When im done cooking for the house i usually watch anime or read a webtoon to pass the time. And i also do my everyday chores.

Not only is this a summer day in my life , but quarantine edition.

My days are very casual, I wake up around 9:00 a.m and the first thing I do is prayer and then I make my bed. Afterwards, I brush my teeth, comb my hair and then have some breakfast. I then do any chores around the house or help out my mom and dad. After, I shower and get ready for the rest of the day. During the day I spend a lot of time with my family, especially my little brother, watching movies and playing games. I always message and go on video calls with my cousins all the time, we are very very close, and I also message my friends to check up on them. Throughout the day I’m constantly checking my emails and google classrooms for any school related work, and to catch up on things for the upcoming academic year. Sometimes in the evening my family and I may take short drives, just to get some air and then back home where we have dinner, prayer and then head to bed.

So that’s my summer day in a nutshell, I look forward to seeing Yours!

If my mom is home we will talk and maybe watch a movie together. They would always be ready to wake me up to get ready and pack the car to behold whatever the day brings. My summer days are almost always filled with adventures and surprises around every corner but, unfortunately, these adventures had to come to an extended pause due to the Pandemic. So, I'll be sharing with you all some of my summer experiences prior to Covid.

With my family or friends because I am always busy what I would want to do with my family is go on vacation to relax and have fun what I do on my free time is pretty much sleep and play video games and shop for new fish for my soon to be fish aquarium I love to watch marvel movies and inspirational movies some give life lessons and some give tips I use in my everyday life

I wake up at 8 in the morning sometimes at 9 because I oversleep. I get up and brush my teeth and wash my face. After I do this I head to the Kitchen to help my mom make breakfast. After I've done this me and my brothers go clean our rooms and the whole house. After we are done we take a quick shower and go shopping for groceries once or twice a week. If not then I'll watch a movie on my own or with my family. Sometimes we go out to shop or to take walks. I love going on these walks because we explore different parks and there are so many pretty views around. Sometimes if I make plans with my friends then we go out and do our own thing. But majority of my time I spend with my family. I like to do my makeup once everything I had to do is done. I also like to facetime some of my friends or just text them to check up on them. At the end of the day I like to take a shower before bed so I feel cooled off and fresh, from there I like to read something that interests me.

I haven’t gotten the opportunity to enjoy my summer break as yet. Hopefully in August. I sleep quite late so I do also wake up pretty late as well. I don't have a routine I really stick to but most days are spent working out, doing my summer assignments, any chores Ii have assigned, and attend any online classes or any appointments I might have such as doctor, orthodontist, driving lessons, etc. I am not always the best at keeping myself productive during the summer, I really just laze around all day. I do not really eat breakfast since I wake up so late, but I do make lunch for myself, my brother and my dad as my dad is still working from home and my brother is in online classes. Since I don't follow a set routine I couldn't really tell you when I do things but my mornings from 10am until 3pm I mostly stay in, watch Netflix, text my friends, do my work and attend to any schedules I have set, (I do my best not to schedule anything in the elate afternoon.) Afternoons from 4-7 are usually my designated workout times, go swimming, go on a run, go to the park, go biking. whatever it is I feel like doing that day. Then evenings are spent usually watching a show/movie, or rather the Olympics right now, with my mom when she gets home from work. I remember one summer day where my family and I took a trip to Ocho Rios at a guest house. It was one coaster load of people. On summer days I usually sleep late and wake around 2pm if I have nowhere to go but if We have beach or a trip everyone wakes early. On this day everyone woke 5am to prepare clothes, food and drinks. After which we all move speedily towards the bathroom to get ready quickly. When everyone was ready we took on the road which we made a few stops for bathroom and fresh air break. Overall it took us 2 hours to arrive to our destination. upon arrival we got our rooms, unpacked our bags and took a well rested nap, for beach and party later that evening.
