         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><strong>Step 1– In the doctor's office</strong>: Doctor will talk to you about about the test, take your sample and send it to lab</li><li><strong>Step 2– Prepare your DNA</strong>: To find the cause of a disease, the way the lab looks at your DNA will depend on the type of genetic test your doctor ordered.</li><li><strong>Step 3– Sequencing your DNA</strong>: read your DNA and look for variants (changes) in the DNA</li><li><strong>Step 4– Analyzing your DNA</strong>: Computers are used to compare your DNA to all of the DNA in the human body (the human reference genome)</li><li><strong>Step 5– Interpreting your DNA</strong>: A team of experts talks about and analyzes your results</li><li><strong>Step 6– Receiving your results</strong>: The lab will give the written results back to your doctor or genetic counselor<br><br></li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><strong>Newborn screening:</strong> used just after birth to identify genetic disorders that can be treated in early life.</li><li><strong>Diagnosis testing</strong>: used to identify or rule out a specific genetic or chromosomal condition</li><li><strong>Carrier testing</strong>: used to identify people who carry one copy of gene mutation that, when present in two copies, causes a genetic disorder</li><li><strong>Prenatal testing</strong>: used to detect changes in fetus’s genes and chromosomes before birth.</li><li><strong>Preimplantation testing</strong>: a specialized technique that can reduce the risk of having a child with a particular genetic or chromosome disorder</li><li><strong>Predictive and presymptomatic testing</strong>: used to detect gene mutations associated with disorders that appear after birth, often late in life</li><li><strong>Forensic testing</strong>: uses DNA sequences to identify an individual for legal purposes</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
