This shows that he is intelligent because in order to lie that he read really kind and big books all in one day, he has to know that they are big books in the first place. Gallagher is unique and is different from others. Because he thinks differently and has the ability to speak up and change things. In the text it states" I have performed an open heart surgery. And i have talked to Elvis". First of all Gallagher has not gone to to college so it is not possible for him to perform an open heart surgery, and Elvis died long ago so he couldn't talk to him.
