  • We use there's(there is) and there are to say that something exists. In Bahasa Melayu the closest meaning is 'terdapat'. 

  • We use there's for singular noun.
      *example : There's a frog   
                     on the rock
  • We use there are for plural noun.                *example: There are three                frogs on the                    rock.
