treatable.... Rehabilitation. Not only do you ruin your life and body by using heroin, there are
consequences by law. Moms ruin their kid's life right off the bat by using heroin when they are
pregnant. Twenty six percent  of  people become dependent on this drug after just one usage.

of heroin are euphoria,warm flushing of skin, dry mouth, heavy feeling in extremities, cloudy
thinking, drowsiness, and nausea. A small list of long term effects of heroin are addiction, collapsed   
veins, infection of  the heart lining and valves, HIV and depression. If you try getting off of heroin you
have withdrawal symptoms which can include restlessness, muscle/bone pain, insomnia, diarrhea, vomiting, cold flashes, goose bumps, and leg movements.

white or brown powder on yourself.  Consequences are doubled if you are caught selling this drug to minors or pregnant women.  A third degree offense is consuming or distributing less than one half ounce to five ounces of heroin.  This includes eighteen months to five years in prison and a fine up to $35,000.  Selling or consuming over five ounces will be sentenced anywhere from ten to twenty years in prison and it includes a fine of up to $500,000.  If you are caught selling or consuming heroin in a school zone, there is a $100,000 fine and a fixed prison term. If you are found guilty of trafficking this drug, you can be sentenced up to twenty-five years in prison and a fine of $500,000.

to heroin also.  The babies who are unfortunately addicted to heroin go through withdrawal if not treated with methadone.  These babies may have a lot of developmental problems and because of this they are monitored more frequently than a healthy infant.  Just think, the mother messed up their life right from the start.  This complicates so much for these infants who could have had a bright future!

]]> 2019-01-08 19:47:07 UTC https://padlet.com/23comerl/abidz4u14j72/wish/318530867 Effects to loved ones 23comerl https://padlet.com/23comerl/abidz4u14j72/wish/318531468 There are many effects of this drug other than just what it does to the user.  This drug tears apart families both emotionally, physically, and financially.  Children of users are most often neglected by the  parents.  They can also be abused both verbally and physically.  And a drug user will do anything in their power in order to get the next “fix”.  This includes stealing and often turning to prostitution for drug money.  Even though they need money, their absenteeism rises at work due to the side effects of the drug  Due to on going health problems from the addiction, medical bills often rise.  And the ultimate stress on anyone who knows and loves these drug abusers is planning their untimely funeral. The effects do not stop with just the family.  Society also pays for increased medical bills, an increase in crime, and performance decrease at work.  The government also has to put extra money into forces to fight off the spread of this drug and its usage.

Withdrawal, health issues, family problems, fines, imprisonment and possible death should be deterrents from ever trying heroin or any other drug because of the possibility of it being laced with heroin.  Women especially should avoid this drug due to its direct connection with their possible pregnancies.  Poor , unsuspecting newborns who really did not have a choice are having to pay for the bad choices of their mother.  Who wants to watch anyone especially someone that they love go through this battle that can  be avoided by simply saying one word “NO”! Just do not do heroin or any type of drugs (unless under a doctor's supervision) and you will not have to experience this battle yourself.  Try to encourage others not to start using drugs also to prevent them from going through this terrible experience.
