I believe AI can be beneficial when it comes to essays, but there is a fine line students can't cross. Using AI to check grammar and organization can be very helpful. However, using it create sentences and paragraphs for you is not okay. When it is used like this, that is when it is considered plagiarism.

As is true with any form of technology, there are both pros and cons to AI usage in schools. I do feel like there are more cons than pros in this instance. My main issue is students are using these technologies to avoid doing the work and truly learning the content. This is taking away from their learning potential and instilling habits that will negatively impact them in their future endeavors.

I believe that use of AI in essay is form of cheating and should not be use in an academic setting. They are circumstances where certain types of AI, those that correct grammar, are useful and should be considered as a potential tool in a classroom.

It's definitely a hard line to walk. However, I think there should be lots of limitations. I believe students should be allowed to use AI programs to create outlines and ideas for essays, but they should not be allowed to have those programs write their entire paper.
