When trying to gain a passport for Satrapi’s Uncle Taher, her aunt ran into the medical director of the hospital. Believing he may be able to help, she began to beg him for passports. However, the director took no interest for uncle Taher’s health and instead began to talk out the chemical weapon victims. Satrapi’s Aunt began to take notice of his lack of interest and began to irrationally yell at the director telling him that she didn’t care about the war victims, only her husband.
