I have done a few researches related to Extended Essay, critical thinking skills and languages. I used to work as a journalist and had experience and understanding of the education in Latin America, United States and Singapore.

I love dancing and doing aerial yoga because both activities help me to relieve from the stress and see the world in a different way (practically we always look into the mirror upside down during the aerial yoga session ^_^)

It is always a pleasure to have sharing with the teachers from different contexts and having the intellectual exchange.

I hope that all the participants will have a good intellectual exchange and discussion about WS EE. We can come up with some good ideas that can help to guide the students in different stage of the EE journey. Hopefully, we can build a network and sharing platform with each other to support EE in our school community.

I am Jeff and I am the Extended Essay Coordinator at YCIS-Beijing, I am also the Head of Department for Science.

I am teaching IB Biology, IGCSE Biology as well as the YCIS Middle School science.

I have two twin boys that are almost three years old, so, as I am sure you can imagine, there is never a dull moment in the Alvarez household.

I am hoping to get to know a group of colleagues that I can ask for help as we all navigate the new AI world in education.

I have regularly been an EE supervisor since I began teaching in the IB program 13 years ago.

My name is Rose Vu. I work at Nexus International School in Singapore. I am a Business/Economics/TOK teacher. I am currently an EE supervisor for Business Management. I will take on the EE coordinator role for our school.

I have been a teacher for 11 years and 5 years in the IB. I started teaching EAL, then English, then I&S, and now Business and Economics. I've taught in South Korea, Australia, The Netherlands, The Bahamas and now Singapore.

I write poetry and have published a small poetry collection.

I'm looking forward to learning more about the World Studies EE and how that can be better done by learners.

I'm Emma and I work at West Island School in HK as the Head of Film & Media where we teach MYP Media, BTEC Level 2 Creative Media Production and IB Film (next year we'll be introducing Level 3 BTEC also). I've been teaching for about 14 years but this is only my second year teaching IB. I have been a supervisor for students who want to complete their EE in Film since I started teaching IB so I'm still quite new to everything.

I love playing music and recently learnt the tenor saxophone which I play as part of a brass band.

I’m Joe. Head of Business Studies at West Island School. I have been teaching in for the past 6 years and I am hoping to get a better understanding of the EE as a number of my students opt for Business or World Studies. Although I will only supervise 2 students there are always a high number of students asking for advice and suggestions at the early stages of EE so I’d like to be better informed so as to be able to help my Year 12s.
