I enjoy using STEM in the classroom as a way to tie in more than one subject into the classroom and engage students at the same time. In the past I’ve used STEM activities on Fridays and had students collaborate together and have fun with it. It also worked great in my classroom when I used it as a competition and students had to really work together and at a quick pace. It’s a good way to get students thinking and work with other students in the class they may not usually work with.
Jamie T.

A STEM classroom should not only allow students to have access to technology, but should also be filled and facilitated by those who truly understand the possibilities of influencing their students to wonder (exploration) about how the elements of their environment (organic, or technological) around them are interconnected and that each individual has the ability to understand, change, and influence such environment to whatever degree they put their mind to (whether that means on a personal or corporate level).
- L.
