She has a great love for art activities and fine motor experiences and enjoys participating in them alongside her friends. Eliana has grown tremendously over the past year, and it has been wonderful to watch her develop socially, emotionally, and academically. With her determination and enthusiasm, there is no doubt she will achieve every goal she sets for herself.

Social Development

Eliana has become noticeably more social over the past few months. She has made significant progress in interacting with her classmates as well as with me, showing growing confidence and enthusiasm in her relationships. She is becoming very vocal and is increasingly willing to participate in new games and activities, demonstrating curiosity, courage, and a positive attitude towards learning. Her cheerful and engaging nature has been wonderful to observe.

Emotional Development

Eliana has learned how to control her emotions in most ways such as when we paint or do messy play she can wait her turn and listen when we call her name.

She does however have her moments where she does not like to hear the word "no" but she is working really hard on controlling that emotion. Very good.

Eliana shows an early interest in books and enjoys listening to stories during circle time. She loves exploring colourful pictures and often points to familiar objects, such as animals and toys. She is beginning to repeat simple words and phrases she hears in books and songs. Through these activities, she is developing her pre-literacy skills beautifully and is making excellent progress in her early language development.

Eliana is beginning to recognise numbers in songs and rhymes, such as counting songs. She enjoys basic counting using her fingers and small objects during play activities. She can identify several shapes, including circles and squares, and is learning to name different colours. Eliana shows curiosity about sizes and amounts, often comparing objects as “big” or “small.” Through these activities, she is developing a strong foundation for early numeracy and is making excellent progress in her mathematical understanding.
