Another composer/producer that inspired me was Ludwig Gorransson when I heard the Oppenheimer soundtrack in theme song "can you hear the music" in 2023. The violins of the score form the basis with an intense descending melody, unique tapping hitting the violin with the bow create even more tension between the warm and brittle frequencies of the violin, the 21 tempo changes of the song rapidly speeding up and it taking 5 days to record with a professional orchestra, was all very fascinating to me and the melody didn't leave my head for weeks.

Hanz Zimmer is a one of my main inspirations that got me into making music. I started making film music when I listened to the Dune soundtrack in 2022, The atmospheric vocals, Indian bamboo flutes, Irish whistles, scraping metal, industrial drum sounds, distorted guitars, percussion patterns and war horns really caught my attention and it lead me to start fusing Film and Game music with my other favourite genre, Trap music, on FL Studio.

In an interview (Vanity Fair by Yohana Desta, Febuary 15 2019) Gorranson was asked about if he is a fan of John Williams and stated, "He’s one of my big heroes, and I would do anything to meet him." His wife, a violinist Serena McKinney Göransson, plays in Williams’s Los Angeles sessions. “Whenever she’s playing with him, I try to get all of the details,” he said, stating that he tries to embody that secondhand information into his own perspective to conducting.

The music of “Edward Scissorhands” [by Danny Elfman]. That’s when I made the connection: okay, why am I crying? Why am I feeling like this? It wasn’t only what was going on visually, but what I was hearing. I was probably 11, 12, so when I made that connection I started going through all of the themes and everything that I’d lived through my childhood". (Greiving, 2019)

His inspiration's that got him into composing and production were Ennio Ennio Morricone He said "something that Morricone was so great at is being a music producer. Some of the most iconic western scores, it was just one sound playing one note, just making it so distinctive so the first time you hear it it's burnt into your brain for the rest of your life. I think that's something I was very inspired by through my whole career, how you can make a sound and make it super distinctive." (Gorransson 2021)

There is nobody else … Ennio for me personally is so above everybody. "His inventiveness and his gracefulness and his daring, and at the same time the emotionality, the core truth in his music, the true heart. Which other composer reveals as much about their own heart as Ennio Morricone does?" (Bond, 2022).

Hanz Zimmer Talking about composing music after Williams' original theme, Hans Zimmer told CNN: "That was daunting. Seriously, He's the greatest film composer out there, without a doubt, and it happens to be one of his iconic pieces of music, so I spent three months just procrastinating and not even getting a start on the thing, because I was so intimidated: 'Oh my God, I'm following in John Williams' footsteps.'" FM (2013) This primary source quote shows that Zimmer was nervous to be creating the new Superman score after one of his greatest influences, John Williams and always shows how shocked he was to have the opportunity to follow In the footsteps of him.
