         <description><![CDATA[<div>President after Truman, he was in charge of taking over world affairs, including the Korean War happening in Korea between the Soviet Union and America. When he took over, Macarthur had tried to take all of Korea back for Democracy, freaking out China. But when he got into office, he put a stop to it and ended the Korean War by signing an armistance with the USSR. He fired Macarthur for prolonging an unneccesary war. </div>]]></description>

The USSR helped the North while America helped the South, causing even more tension between them as they fighting yet another war without actually fighting one another head on. The war created a communist Vietnam as the USSR forced the Americans out and the Americans didn't shove their way back in, simply moved out and called it a day. </div>]]></description>
