Many people have lost people they have close bonds with due to covid-19. The virus took away many lives, and took away most of our ability to travel to see our close ones. This past weekend, I attended my great grandmother's funeral. My family's worst fear came true and it took a toll on her children, one of them being my grandmother and it has been an horrible experience. Both of my grandfathers are battling illnesses. Covid 19 has put the elderly especially in danger. So I can relate to her when she says that her grandmother has dealt with the lost of her mother and is possibly dealing with depression. I know some people who lost family dude to covid and they talked about how it happened so fast. My grandmother doesn’t really go outside because of the virus so she didn’t get sick. When I get home from food shopping, or going somewhere, I have to stay away from her and go straight to the shower. The virus took a lot of people lives and family members. It can be heartbreaking to lose someone in a time when you aren't able to see them in their last moments. You aren't able to have that last heart-to-heart, that last hug, that last laughter. Quarantine has caused many to have a disconnection with close relatives and I can relate to that.
