Elected by colleagues as presiding judge in 2018, she is serving her fourth term as an administrative judge in the court’s general division. Amy Corrigall Jones is also the presiding judge in the Summit County Valor Court, which she co-founded in 2013 to provide resources for veterans in the criminal justice system. In recognition of her professional contributions, she received a 30 for the Future award. Previously, Judge Amy Corrigall Jones spent six years as a managing partner with Corrigall & Jones, where she focused on criminal defense cases, domestic relations issues, and personal injury litigation. Admitted to the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, she began her legal career representing clients in civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels. To give back to the community, she has coached the mock trial team coach at St. Vincent St. Mary High School and served as a basketball coach at Archbishop Hoban High School.
