one event is Jennette's face caught on fire and she still thought it looked pretty. I think the author was trying to get across that even though things might have scars they are still beautiful.

in the beginning, the main character's perspective on life and how her parents is that every is really great and that them not taking care of her and making her do a lot on her own and moving around all the time is normally is normally but you start to see some doubt and wonder in her siblings about the way they live.

"Do you like always moving around?" Lori asked me. "of course I do!" I said. "don't you?" "sure..." she said.

My family is the same in the way that you have to learn from your mistakes but my family is different because we make sure we take care of each other.

Ive learned what its like to move around a lot and have a a family that seems to not 100% be there for each other.
