Based on the way information is presented in this video, do you believe NBC contains some bias towards one side of the issue? Why or why not? It seemed bias because they only focused on the people who were hurt.

What motive could this publication company (NBC) have for publishing this story? They wanted to talk down and talk bad about people that were in this.
What information, if any, is left out or not addressed adequately? They didn't involve the osha quote.

Based on the information described in the video, what moral dilemma do self-driving cars create? cars cant think through their thoughts and what could happen before they do it such as humans do.

In your opinion, what type of "code" should self-driving cars have? (prioritize the driver's life, minimize damage, minimize harm to other drivers, etc.) Why? There should be some sort of safety regulation to make sure that it can't hit other cars and can detect where they are going.

The topic of today's short story is "social progress."

Based on what you've seen in the video, decide whether or not this is progress? Why or why not? Yes, they have improved their ways of doing things and can be more efficient with time. It is fresher food and can be local.

What implications does this new technology have for farmers? They can plant things alot faster than they used to be able to, takes less time to get things done. Are the effects positive, negative, or both? Yes, they have became more efficient and the workers and don't need breaks or paid. It can be local so that you can get them from anywhere and possibly cheaper. It isn't good to be taking jobs from our farmers though since that is a lot of ways that midwestern people make money.

How does the article you chose relate to the story "The Wretched and the Beautiful"? The humans are more attracted to the animals that are beautiful because they aren't "weird and ugly". Humans only want what fits the standard and is "perfect". If they didn't have the best looking animal that was beautiful than they could be judged.

What findings discussed in the article are similar to what is discussed in the story? In both they talk about the humans reactions to the different types such as the ugly and the beautiful. Cite a piece of evidence from the article to support your answer. "Hence, the Australian researchers conducted a second study to strengthen their claim that beauty causes an increase in the moral standing of an animal. Their quasi-experiment was clever."

In your own experience, are the article's findings accurate? Have you ever experienced or witnessed what the article discusses? Yes I believe that there are people that only want the "better" things or even the "better looking" things. This goes for so much in life such as clothes, shoes, cars, houses, animals, phones and a lot more. Everyone wants the high name brand products. This is something that you see all over wether it's at school or at work.
