This reminds me of Night because their families and race put them in a sad and truly unnecessary to kill innocent people based off their beliefs. In Night Elie also goes through discrimination among society. Anne Frank wrote about these very real and horrible experiences that she endured. They faced similar cruelties such as hunger, boredom and living in confined quarters. Surviving the Holocaust is something I don't think I would have the strength to get through.
