This system is unique, as it focuses and takes into account multiple components, versus only focusing on one specific disability. I gained a large appreciation for this specific system after I came to realization that this program strives to provide equal opportunities for all. For example, this program provides an extensive list of various interventions for several types of needs. I know and understand that every child is unique and what works for one person may not work for the next, therefore introducing and providing various strategies is very admirable.

Students can be diagnosed with the same disability but that does not make them the same. MTSS is special and effective because of its ability to treat each student as a unique individual and adapt to their needs. Our special education system cannot effectively  work on a ‘one size fits all’ program. Students will grow and change throughout their time in the education system. MTSS is a system that will adapt to these changes and provide each individual student with the services they need to succeed.
