         <title>Italy in English language</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Italy is situated in the south of Europe, it's a boot-shaped penisula sorrunded by Ligurian sea, Tyrrhenian sea, Adriatic sea and Ionian sea.<br>It borders with France, Austria, Switzerland and Slovenia.<br>The&nbsp; most important cities are <strong>Milan, Rome and Naples</strong>, in the north there are many mountains like Alps, in the center the lands are mainly flat.<br>From the north to the south Italy there are the Apennines, called too <strong>"Backbone"</strong> of Italy.<br>It's divided in 20 regions like Sicily, Sardinia, Lombardy etc.<br>The highest pick is Mont Blanc in the north, the longest river is Po in the Po valley.<br>It inclueds the two biggest islands in Mediterranean sea: Sardinia and Sicily.</div>]]></description>

         <title>The Chunnel  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Channel">The English Channel</a> separate Great Britain from the continent.<br>It has always been a defence but also a barrier.<br>But now the Chunnel is chancing all that.<br>It has taken 184 years to realize the project:<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napoleon"> Napoleon</a> wanted a channel tunnel but the war between France and England put and end to all entusiasm; Wiston Churchill proposed another project wich was abbandoned in 1940 when the German Nazis invaded France.<br>At last, the British Prime Minister, Mrs Margaret Thatcher, and the French President Mitterand, agreed to build the Chunnel.<br>England and France are now linked by this rail tunnel, wich, in fact, consists of two tunnels with single track rails.<br>The specially designed trains can transport cars, coaches and heavy goods vehicles.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>London</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London">London</a> is the capital of England and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom">UK </a>and it is the largest city in Europe. London was founded by romans in 43 AD as a centre for trade and communications, it was Londinium.<br>It lies on the river Thames in the south of England, not far from east coast.<br>The royal family live here, in Buckingham palace.<br>In this city there are many things to watch: Big Ben, a Bell inside the Tower of London, built by an important person in London: Benjamin, Westmister Abbey is a very old church, the kings and the queens are crowned there, many important people are buried there.<br>Trafalgar Square is one of London's most important squares. In the center of the square there is a tall column with statue of Horatio Nelson on it, he was an British admiral who Napoleon sonfic in the battle of Trafalgar, from which it take the name the square.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Archipelago: it's a group of islands.<br>Bay: it's a body of water that is partially enclosed by land.<br>Beach: it's a part shore of an ocean, sea, lake etc., whased by the tide or waves.<br>Cape: it's a point or head of land projecting into a body water.<br>Cave: it's  hollow in the earth, especially opening more or less hotizontally into a hill, mountain etc.<br>Channel: it's a lenght of water wider than a strait joining two large areas of water, such as seas.<br>Desert: it's a dry area of land that gets very little rainy.<br>Forest: it's a large area of trees.<br>Geyser: it's a hot spring in wich intermittently  boils, sending a tall column of hot water and steam into the air.<br>Glacier: it's a slowy moving mass of ice formed by the accomulation of snow on mountains or near the poles.<br>Grassland: it's a large of grass-covered land, especially used for pasturage.<br>Gulf: it's a deep inlet of the sea almost sorrunded by land, with a narrow mouth.<br>Hill: it's a naturally raised area of land.<br>Iceberg: it's a large mass of ice floating in the sea.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Oxford</strong>: is the home of the oldest English university.<br>Most of the oldest colleges are situated in the center of the town.<br>The most famous college is Christ Church, whose great hall dates back to the reign of Henry VIII.<br>Its chapel as became the chatedral of Oxford.<br><strong>Canterbury</strong>: is where the spiritual head of the Anglican Church, the Archbishop of Canterbury, risides.<br>The established church in England is the Church of England or anglican Church, which separeted from the Roman Chatolic Church in the sixteen century during the reign of Henry VIII.<br><strong>Chester</strong>: it was original built as a roman fort, it's name comes from the latin word "Castra" meaning fordified camp.<br>Stratford-Apon-Avon: is well-know as Shakespear's birthplace.<br>York: it is a one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe.<br>It was built by the romans, conquered by the Anglo-Saxons and ruled by the Vikings.<br>The shambles is a beatiful medieval street where all the buildings are very close thogether.<br>York Minster is the largest gotic cathedral north of the Alps (the picture below).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salerno">Salerno</a> is in the south of<strong> Italy</strong>, on the gulf of Salerno, on the Tyrrhenian sea.<br>The coat of arms is a symbol of Salerno, it is used for first time in 1544 when Khair-Ed-Din tried to sack Salerno, his fleet was destroyed by a storm and the victory was attribuited to St. Mattew.<br>Salerno chatedral is the main tourist attraction in the city, in the chatdral's crypt there is the tomb of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_the_Apostle">St. Mattew</a>, one of the twelve apostles and after the lose of Khair-Ed-Din the protector of Salerno.<br>Under the lombard dukes Salerno enjoyed the most splendid period&nbsp; of its history, it became the capital of Duchy of Benevento and later became an autonomus kingdoms: Principality of Salerno.<br>The medical school of Salerno was the first medical school in the world.<br>Salerno is a city rich of legend,, the legend of Henry, <strong>Robert Guiscard </strong>who married Sichelgente, princess of Salerno or the legend of Richard.</div>]]></description>
