Below is a cross with many pieces. Go through each color with your child talking through the Easter story and Jesus' sacrifice as you do. 

Shape two of the rolls into ears and leave the last roll a circle. Tape them together and start stamping! See below for a reference picture.

Use construction paper to cut out one egg for each letter in your child's name. Cut each egg a little further down for each letter. Write one letter on each egg in order. Have your child put together their puzzle! If your child knows their name well, consider doing this for their last name as well! See below for a reference picture.

Put on your silliest clothes and have a fashion show or a fancy dinner! 

Get ready for a very silly game! Find an object about the size of a lemon (it does not have to be a lemon). One player hides the object in the house while the other players stay in another room. The object should be hidden but still visible (not under anything or in a drawer). The rest of the players go find the object! Encourage your child to ask thoughtful questions as to where the object is. Ex. Is it high? Is it under something? etc. 
Feel free to add your own rules for example, doing hot and cold when players are close, only hiding the object in one room, or how many people can hide the object at a time (like team play). Have fun with it! 

If you have not already, take this opportunity to create something with your child. Make cookies or a cake or have them help with dinner! Find ways you can actively engage them in this process. There are some schools of thought that suggest children are able to be taught knife skills at this age. I will leave that up to you! Feel free to share what you made with us!
